You try to catch them while you’re kerning: colliding glyph pairs. But did you check your i-diacritics against your superior numerals, ogoneks against brackets, the dcaron against the asterisk? Touché is a RoboFont extension that can take some guesswork out of things by programmatically listing the pairs whose black bodies touch, taking spacing and kerning into account. Results can be exported as a pair list for Metrics Machine.

It’s a conscious point that the extension does not try to guess which pairs make sense or should be fixed. I believe that making this decision is the designer’s job; I am thinking about ways to make it easier, but it can’t be taken over by the code. Touché thus checks all of your glyphs against all of your glyphs, giving you a total overview over everything that crashes.
